Atlanta, Georgia — On January 22, 2026, at approximately 6:42 p.m., Atlanta Police Department Zone 4 officers conducted a traffic stop of a Nissan Altima at 538 Lee Street SW after discovering the driver had a suspended driver’s license. The driver disobeyed officers’ commands and attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended. The driver was identified as 30-year-old Sylvon Brush. During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered more than four pounds of marijuana and a firearm.
