On 23rd June, a security guard was hailed as a hero for stopping two masked suspects from entering a luxury resale boutique in SoHo, New York.
The guard, identified as Tyrell Gibbs, was seen physically blocking the suspects at the entrance, forcing them to flee the scene.
Local news reported that a woman who entered the store shortly before the attempted robbery is believed to be working with the suspects.
The boutique later praised the guard’s actions for helping to keep staff and customers safe.
The suspects reportedly escaped in a white Acura, and authorities are seeking information as investigations continue.
