November 14, 2025, a father dropped his son off with his son’s mother and grandmother for an ordered custody exchange, expecting to have his son back in 5 days, as ordered by the court. His son and son’s mother disappeared, and the grandmother left town shortly after. The father tried to report his son missing immediately, and over the course of 4 month repeatedly attempted to report his missing child and the crimes of custodial interference to local PD and county Sheriff, but was turned away over and over again After securing new orders from the judge declaring this father the sole guardian of his son, and ordering Mena PD to enforce the order, they refused again to take reports and violently attacked and arrested him instead
The officer, Sergeant Eddie Price, later testified in court that his body camera had not captured footage of the incident nor any footage at all for two days leading up to HIS SON IS STILL MISSING
